Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy

At LAMP, we are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all of our students. We understand that for autistic young people, feeling safe and secure is of utmost importance.

Our Safeguarding policy includes measures to protect our students from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. We take a proactive approach to safeguarding and work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure that all risks are identified and managed appropriately.

As part of our Safeguarding commitment, we have a Designated Safeguarding Lead, Florence Ellis. Florence is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Safeguarding within our provision, ensuring that policies and procedures are up-to-date and effectively implemented. You can contact Florence directly if you have any concerns or questions regarding Safeguarding at LAMP.

We are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our students, where they can thrive and achieve their full potential. We take Safeguarding very seriously and are committed to ensuring that all of our staff and volunteers are trained in Safeguarding procedures and understand their responsibilities.

If you have any Safeguarding concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We are here to support and protect our students at all times.

Child Protection Statement

We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all students. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.
