I have been working in education for 5 years as an Education Manager and Internal Quality Assurer. I've worked solely in the area of AP as I believe in the provision of education for children and young people who do not fit in to mainstream school. I have a creative background in music and film; my degree is in Music Composition with Visual Arts Practices from Dartington College of Arts.

In addition to my education work I write music for film and live shows. I continue to work in visual arts, installation art and animation. I also foster Ripley the school dog.

 

In 2013 I composed and performed music for a circus show based on the Greek myth of Persephone for Circus Suburbia. In 2014 I was commissioned to write an original 45 minute score for a contemporary film of H.P Lovecraft’s The Call of Cthulhu, and in 2016 performed a new original score to avante guarde short Le Nez as part of Birmingham's Flatpack Film Festival.
