The Chinese new year celebrations last 15 days. The first 5 days of the celebration need to be spent exclusively with your family and people travel thousands of miles to be with their families in China. It’s been called the biggest human migration on the planet! Food is very important during the Chinese new year celebrations and we will be cooking and tasting some Chinese traditional foods in the next couple of weeks. If you want to increase your luck for the coming year eat noodles for a long and happy life, fish to increase prosperity, dumplings for wealth and tangerines for ‘fullness’ and wealth!
