NCFE Level 1&2 Certificate in Performance Skills
Dance, Performance Skills Level 1 & 2 are entirely coursework based, with no exams, which is ideal for young people that suffer from anxiety. The qualification is marked as pass or fail, and is internally quality assessed by our team and externally quality assessed by NCFE.
The course is heavily weighted in practical sessions, in any style of dance that the student wishes to practice. There is typically one main performance at the end of the school year, with opportunities to perform in front of their peers throughout the year, at our performance space at Lamp if they choose.

We evidence progress through an online portfolio, which includes text, pictures, and videos.

Level 1 Certificate in Performance Skills
Light dancing is an extra curricular creative project that we do with Timothy. Lights are attached to dancers that then work a choreographed or improvised piece that's filmed in a blackout.
